The Sreemany family's thakurdalan on Sukea Street, with a bust of Mahendra Sreemany, hosts a traditional daaker-saaj Durga.

This is one of Kolkata's bonedi bari (aristocratic household) Durga Pujas — celebrated privately inside a family thakurdalan rather than a public pandal. Visitors are welcome during the puja days; dress conservatively and ask permission before photographing family members.
