The Janbazar Rajbari puja linked to philanthropist Rani Rashmoni — Sri Ramakrishna himself is said to have conducted it in 1864.

This is one of Kolkata's bonedi bari (aristocratic household) Durga Pujas — celebrated privately inside a family thakurdalan rather than a public pandal. Visitors are welcome during the puja days; dress conservatively and ask permission before photographing family members.
