What Dugga Elo is
Dugga Elo is an independent, fan-made guide to Durga Puja pandals in Kolkata. It is not affiliated with any puja committee, the Kolkata Police, or any government body. It's a planning tool, not an official source.
Accuracy of information
Pandal locations, addresses, and metro distances are geocoded as accurately as we could manage, but some are marked "medium confidence" and could be off. Crowd levels are clearly labeled estimated, based on a pandal's general scale and reputation — not live footfall data. Weather, when shown, comes from a live third-party API; if that API is unavailable, we hide the widget rather than show stale numbers. Always double-check timings, closures, and routes independently before heading out, especially on the busiest nights.
Use at your own judgment
Walking directions, distances, and time estimates from the route planner are straight-line or map-based approximations, not a substitute for your own awareness of traffic, road closures, and crowd safety during Puja. Dugga Elo isn't responsible for delays, missed pandals, or anything that happens while you're out following a route you built here.
Your saved data
Saved pandals, routes, and checklist progress live in your browser's local storage on your own device — see the Privacy Policy. We can't recover this for you if you clear your browser data; there's no account or backup.

Content ownership
Site text, design, and original pandal write-ups belong to Dugga Elo. Photographs sourced from Wikimedia Commons are used under their stated CC BY / CC BY-SA licenses and credited on the relevant pages — those remain the property of their original photographers.
Sponsorships
Some sections of the site may carry sponsor or partner placements, clearly labeled as such. Sponsorship never changes which pandals are listed or how directions/data are calculated.
Changes
These terms may be updated as the site evolves. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
